Neighbors
A large majority of the lotto draws contain two numbers which are neighbors, such as the 2 and the 3 or the 5 and the 6 for example. Take a look at the past results from your states pick 3 lotto and you will see this to be the case. Start by choosing one of the following nine pairs: 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9. Once you have selected your pair, choose a random number and play it with your pair. When your pair appears in the draw, you will have a 1 in 10 chance of winning.
Repeat Number
You will also notice that a pick 3 draw is likely to contain at least one number from the previous draw. Try selecting a number from the last draw and add it to your combination, or use it as the random number with your neighbors pair from above.
Ascending and Descending
It is very rare that you will see a lotto draw with the numbers ascending from lowest to highest such as 2-4-9, or descending from highest to lowest such as 9-4-2. This is not relevant if your playing your numbers boxed. Otherwise for straight combinations, try using the numbers in a random order such as 4-9-2 or 9-2-4.
